Mozart and Casper were a pair of deeply bonded cats who shared nearly 17 wonderful years together – playing, cuddling, and charming everyone they met with their friskiness, sentience, and love.

In December 2023, Mozart and Casper— the feline besties and lifelong companions—passed just 17 days apart, forever together in spirit as they had been in life. The void they left behind inspired a legacy fund created in their names, a tribute to their story, and a promise to bring care and compassion to pets who need it most.

Community Impact

Through partnerships with Seattle Veterinary Outreach (SVO) and the Portland Animal Welfare Team (PAW Team)—organizations providing free and low-cost veterinary care to pets of those facing homelessness or financial hardship—the Mozart & Casper Legacy Fund opens doors to advanced treatments for the animals most in need.

By nurturing the health of these cherished companions, we uplift the lives of their humans, weaving compassion into the fabric of our community and reminding us that kindness to animals is kindness to all.
